Worn out tyres filled with thermoplastic elastomer (TPEs) such as Polyfill and similar products are considered chemical waste. And must be removed as such. Recamax | Polyfill can dismantle worn out tyres and separate the PU filling from the tyre casing. The polyurethane fillings can (depending on the composition) be recycled up to 100%. To this end, the old filling is milled, cleaned and granulated. Using our innovative recycling technology, tyres can be filled up to 35% with recycled materials.
